Donor Profile: E. Frances White

“My most rewarding experience with CLAGS occurred when I led a
Seminar in the City reading discussion group on Black Feminisms and
LGTBQ thought. Bringing together a wide range of community
members thinking about and working with race and LGTBQ issues
enabled me to expand my own work by providing new perspectives on
material that I had taught for many years. This work with CLAGS remains the
most important teaching experience I’ve ever had; I now have a deep and
personal understanding of why CLAGS’ work needs to continue.”
