Kel Dawson Award Established

CLAGS has now added to its David Clarke Dissertation Assistance Award, a new fellowship, the Ken Dawson Annual Award. This is a $5,000 grant in honor of the former head of SAGE, who died of AIDS in the spring of 1992. The o.ward is open to a graduate student in history from any university working in gay or lesbian studies. The deadline for applications is March 15th 1993 and the winner will be announced on May 15th. Applicants are required to submit a 1 0- page narrative, identifying any previous work in the field and outlining a proposal for the work to be done supported by the award.
