Digital Transgender Archives
March 30, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
FreeJoin us for a discussion of the Digital Transgender Archives with founder K.J. Rawson (Associate Professor, Northeastern University). The DTA is “an international collaboration among more than sixty colleges, universities, nonprofit organizations, public libraries, and private collections,” and brings together newly digitized material about gender diverse lives from across the globe, and throughout modern history.
We’ll discuss the Digital Transgender Archives’ unique format and structure, as an openly-available resource that applies an interdisciplinary lens to LGBTQ history.
This event is made possible through a Doctoral Curriculum Enhancement Grant. Co-sponsored with The Center for the Study of Women and Society and CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies.
Registration is required. There are 25 seats available.
