SAFE HOUSE has been created to assist writers with AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses in preserving their works. The organization has two primary goals: to provide active representation if there is posthumous interest in the work; and to provide a long-term home in university archives for literature created during the AIDS epidemic but which did not find formal publication during the lifetime of its author. The material gathered by SAFE HOUSE will be housed at CLAGS and the two organizations will explore joint scholarly projects based on the literary work being preserved. For additional information, write SAFE HOUSE, P.O .. Box 114, Prince Street Station, New York, N.Y. 11012.
