Staff Changes

Lynley Wheaton replaces James
Arnett as the new Project Coordinator
for the project in September.
Wheaton is a graduate of Sarah
Lawrence College where she studied
literature and photography. She holds
a master’s in Interdisciplinary Humanities
from NYU where she studied
gender politics, and more specifically,
queer and trans theories. Wheaton
is currently finishing her master’s in
Information and Library Science at
Pratt Institute where she is studying
archives and digital libraries.

Naz is the new Membership and
Fellowships Coordinator, replacing
Sara Pursley in this position. She is a
doctoral student in anthropology with
interests in race, class, gender, and media
power in the U.S. after September
11th. Naz is also interested in transnational
feminism and immigration.
Sara and James may have passed on
their duties as office staff, but we hope
as members of the Graduate Center
community they’ll be close enough to
visit us frequently.
